Esports Wales and the Football Association of Wales Join Forces to Enter Welsh Teams into the FIFAe

Wales, UK – Esports Wales, the national governing body for esports in Wales, has partnered with the Football Association of Wales (FAW) to enter Welsh national teams into the FIFAe World Cup, competing across both eFootball and Rocket League

The partnership represents a significant step in aligning traditional sport and esports in Wales, creating a clear national pathway for elite players to represent their country on the global stage. 

Welsh Teams Announced 

Wales will be represented by dedicated national squads across both titles: 

eFootball
The Welsh eFootball team will feature: 

  • Cerith Dennis 
  • Gareth Rowe 

Rocket League 
The Welsh Rocket League team will feature: 

  • Ell1s 
  • Tadpole 
  • Creamz 
  • Breezi 
  • Jazz 

These players will compete under the Welsh banner as part of FIFA’s official esports ecosystem, representing Wales in one of the most prestigious international esports competitions in the world. 

A Unified National Approach 

Through this collaboration, Esports Wales will lead on esports operations, player pathways, and competition delivery, while working closely with the FAW to align national representation, branding, and the wider sporting landscape in Wales. 

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to:
