Job Specification

We’re currently seeking a Digital Marketing and Content Assistant that will take the lead on our brand development and social media content creation. You will work alongside our CEO, Board of Directors, General Manager and departmental leads, utilising their expertise to carry out our daily activities.

The key responsibilities of the role will be to create engaging content across a wide range of digital channels including social media websites (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc), writing blog posts for the website, supporting our streaming activities on Twitch and creating YouTube videos.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable on either side of the camera and will play a big part in developing our video content on Twitch and YouTube. These videos will then be shared either in full or as highlights across our social media channels. We are currently aiming for Twitch Partner status and success in this role will be measured against this progress, alongside our social media engagement.

This job role will also play a vital part in developing our brand as an attractive proposition to potential affiliates, partners and sponsors. The content you produce will appeal to these companies and should support our wider revenue-generating ambitions.

We also expect the successful candidate to engage in community activities on our Discord channel, as both a player and moderator. We are especially interested in applicants from within a gaming community, and from individuals with experience playing esports titles.

Other daily activities will include: updating spreadsheets and other documents to monitor project progress, communication and delegating tasks to our team of volunteers and, scheduling and posting content on social media platforms and our website.

Many of our specialists offer their expertise on a voluntary basis alongside other commitments. As such you will be expected to use your own initiative, organisation and communication skills to balance the workload across the team.

The ideal candidate is someone who is knowledgeable, passionate and driven about competitive video games. The community largely exists online, so great IT skills are essential along with experience using Discord, Office Packages, Social Media Platforms and project management tools such as Trello.
