As a streamer named DrMarvel, my Twitch username combines two of my biggest passions: Doctor Who and Marvel.
Doctor Who based out of Wales has been a beloved science fiction series for decades, with its time-traveling adventures and iconic characters captivating audiences around the world. Marvel, on the other hand, has created a vast universe of superheroes and villains that have become ingrained in popular culture.
By combining these two interests in my username, I hope to connect with fellow fans who share my love for both Doctor Who and Marvel. The username reflects my enthusiasm for these franchises and serves as a way to express my identity within the streaming community.

What games do you mostly stream?
As DrMarvel, I primarily focus on streaming a variety of games, with a particular emphasis on Destiny 2, Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, and horror games. These titles offer a diverse range of experiences, from cooperative multiplayer action to intense horror thrills. However, I’m always open to exploring new games and genres based on community interests and my personal preferences. The goal is to provide engaging content that keeps viewers entertained and coming back for more.
When did you first start streaming and what was it that inspired you/made you want to start streaming?
I began streaming in the summer of 2020, just before the pandemic ended. It was during this time that I found streaming to be a fulfilling way to spend my free time. Inspired by a supportive community of LGBTQ+ streamers focused on mutual growth and support, I decided to embark on my own streaming journey. Since then, I’ve been sharing my passion for gaming and connecting with viewers who share similar interests.
When did you start playing games and what was the first game you remembered playing?
I started playing video games when I was around 4 or 5 years old. One of the first games I remember playing is Spyro: Year of the Dragon, which I absolutely loved. This game, along with others on the PlayStation 1, introduced me to the world of gaming and sparked a lifelong passion for it. I still have my first PS1 as a cherished memento of those early gaming experiences.
What is your all time favorite game?
Destiny 2 is a popular online multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Bungie. It offers a rich sci-fi universe with deep lore, diverse gameplay including PvE and PvP activities, character customization, regular updates and expansions, emphasis on social interaction, and impressive graphics and sound design. Its engaging gameplay, immersive storytelling, and social features make it a favourite among gamers.
What do you like to do when you are not streaming?
When I’m not gaming or streaming, I’m usually working or diving into manga. I also enjoy travelling to visit my friends, exploring new places, and creating memorable experiences together.
