Today we sat down with Lykarth aka Adam Mcglynn.

What is your gamer tag and how did you get the name?

Dnd Character

What age did you start playing games and what’s the first game you remember playing?

Maybe 4 or 5 – sonic on the Sega megadrive.

What made you decide to pursue a role in Esports?

I’ve always enjoyed gaming and Im really excited about the business and legal challenges that are being encountered as Esports gets bigger. As I go through my career in the legal profession Esports is an industry that I could be passionate about.

What’s your all time favourite game?

Big question, probably has to be time-splitters two. I don’t play it now but if it was in front of me again I would play for hours

What is a typical day like for you?

Get up, gym, work 9-7ish, then back home or to a networking event.

What do you like to do when you aren’t gaming or working in gaming?

I like to excercise, I’m writing awoke of fiction, I go to a lot of business and law events, clubbing, movies and I go through various hobbies all the time.

Can you give any advice to anyone looking to start working in the Esports industry?

Yes, find a way that suits you for keeping up to date with current Esports news – it’s easier said than done because so much happens on a daily basis but that’s exactly why it’s important. The industry is moving so fast that you can’t let too much slip by. I like podcasts and twitter best but other platforms like twitch and Instagram can be just as good
