At Esports Wales, we are committed to creating a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone involved in esports across Wales. Our Codes of Conduct set clear expectations for behaviour, integrity, professionalism, and welfare across all roles within our community.
These Codes are Board‑approved policies and form part of our wider governance, safeguarding, welfare, and integrity framework. All individuals involved in Esports Wales activities are required to follow the relevant Code(s) in full.
Why Codes of Conduct Matter
Our Codes of Conduct ensure that:
- Esports is delivered safely, ethically, and responsibly
- Children, young people, and adults at risk are protected
- Participants behave with respect, integrity, and professionalism
- Clubs, schools, events, and competitions maintain consistent standards
- Coaches, officials, volunteers, and staff understand their responsibilities
- Governance decisions remain transparent and accountable
These expectations apply during events, competitions, training, online activity, and any situation where individuals represent Esports Wales.
