Esports Wales is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of esports. In alignment with the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and its commitment to fair play, this Anti-Corruption Code sets forth the behaviors expected from all participants in the Esports Wales community.

1. Prohibition of Corrupt Practices

Esports Wales strictly prohibits any form of corruption, including but not limited to:

• Match-Fixing: Any act of manipulating the outcome of a match or tournament to achieve a desired result.

• Betting Fraud: Placing, soliciting, or accepting bets on esports events, matches, or tournaments with the intent to influence the outcome or any part of the competition.

• Inside Information: Using privileged or confidential information for personal gain or to influence the outcome of an event.

• Bribery and Kickbacks: Offering, soliciting, or accepting bribes, kickbacks, or other forms of illicit payment in relation to any aspect of esports competitions or business.

2. Reporting Obligations

All members of the Esports Wales community, including players, teams, officials, and staff, are required to report any suspicions or knowledge of corrupt activities immediately. This includes any attempt to fix matches or manipulate results, as well as any unauthorized or suspicious betting activity.

3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Esports Wales participants must comply with all local, national, and international laws governing esports and gambling activities. Any activity that violates these laws, including but not limited to fraud, bribery, or illegal betting, will be subject to disciplinary action.

4. Investigation and Sanctions

Esports Wales takes any violation of the Anti-Corruption Code seriously. All reported incidents will be thoroughly investigated. Participants found to have engaged in corrupt practices may face sanctions, including suspension, banning from competition, fines, and reporting to relevant authorities, as applicable.

5. Education and Awareness

Esports Wales is committed to educating its community on the risks of corruption and promoting ethical behavior in esports. Regular training and resources will be provided to ensure all participants understand their responsibilities under this Anti-Corruption Code.
