ESPORTS WALES APPEALS

At Esports Wales, we strive to create a fair, inclusive, and transparent environment for all players, teams, and community members. We understand that decisions made by our Moderation Team or the Integrity Committee may sometimes lead to disagreements or concerns. The Appeals process exists to ensure your voice is heard and that all decisions are reviewed with fairness and clarity.

What Can Be Appealed?

You may submit an appeal for the following:

  • Moderation Decisions: This includes chat bans, community warnings, server suspensions, and other conduct-related actions within our Discord or online platforms.

  • Integrity Committee Rulings: This includes decisions regarding competitive integrity, cheating allegations, code of conduct violations during tournaments or leagues, and disciplinary actions involving players or teams.

Before You Appeal

Please review the relevant rules or code of conduct to ensure you understand the reasoning behind the original decision. Appeals should be based on either:

  • New evidence or context that wasn’t considered at the time of the original decision, or

  • A belief that the decision was made unfairly or incorrectly.

Appeals that simply disagree with the outcome, without providing further information, may not be successful.

How to Submit an Appeal

To submit an appeal, please email [email protected] with the following:

  • Your full name and Discord username or team affiliation

  • The date and nature of the decision you are appealing

  • A clear explanation of why you believe the decision should be reviewed

  • Any new evidence or context to support your appeal

All appeals are treated confidentially and will be reviewed by a separate panel to ensure neutrality.

What Happens Next?

Once received, your appeal will be acknowledged within 5 working days. The review process may take up to 14 working days, depending on the complexity of the case. You will be informed of the outcome via email or Discord message.

Please note: The outcome of the appeal will be final unless further new information is presented.
